Message from Principal
As an instructional and servant leader I will contribute to the success of both students and staff. I will always take time to visit classrooms each and every day. Communication is always key as is continually building relationships and respect for one another. Once this mutual respect is established, loyalty is acknowledged and partnerships are formed.
As we set the legacy for Anne Sullivan Elementary we will build student leaders one student at a time, while embracing the ‘7 Core Competences’ that the district upholds: Communicate; Be Competent; Inspire Others; Be Honest; Problem Solve; Collaborate; and Innovate. By instilling our students with these core values we will most definitely ensure that they are ready for the 21st century.
My door is always open for you. Please feel free to contact me with comments, questions, ideas at donna.whisonant@fortbendisd.com
Message from PTA President
“With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
I am starting my second year as the President of the ASE PTA with the above statement in mind. Along with some of the most amazing parents of our community involved in our ASE PTA board, I am looking forward to making a difference in our children’s lives. This year, like the last, will be unlike any that we have seen so far. We as a board are looking forward to helping Anne Sullivan Elementary School, the staff, and teachers, by providing as many resources and/or volunteering in any way we can. We do know that the jobs are massive and the fear of the unknown is weighing heavily on all our minds. However, our determination is strong and with innovative ideas, we are looking forward to making this year fun for all our Dalmatians and Families.
The mission of the ASE PTA is to form a partnership between the Anne Sullivan teachers, staff, parents, and the local community. This partnership allows the PTA to enrich the academic and social experiences of all ASE students. Your participation and membership in the ASE PTA allow the ASE PTA to provide guided reading books, teacher training programs, community and family programs, online program access, classroom resources, and so much more to ASE. Every member joined or every hour volunteered at ASE makes a difference and shows your dedication to your child’s school and their education. Please consider joining the ASE PTA and volunteering at ASE this school year. Remember that little by little, we can make a lot. We look forward to hearing from our community and parents.
Please feel free to email me at aseptapresident02@gmail.com with any questions, concerns, or ideas you might have for our PTA.
